LONDON- Chelsea will most likely lose some players in January next. Manager Andre Villas-Boas was prepared for this condition and sure did not need a new signing.
Next month, two national team players Ivory Coast, Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, will defend his country at the 2012 African Nations Cup was held in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Anelka and Alex also has the potential to leave. Some time ago, two players were asked for sale.
While that might be missing some players, Villas-Boas did not panic. He also considered that its stock is still enough players.
"We must make a decision. Fernando (Torres) is in position, (Daniel) Sturridge and (Romelu) Lukaku. I think it's enough options," says Villas-Boas was quoted on Sky Sports.
"We have not gotten the date of departure of Didier," he admits.
"We have plenty of defenders who are on loan. We have the option to call (Hamburg defender Slobodan) Rajkovic," added Villas-Boas.
"We do not know if Alex would go, or whether the incoming bids will be accepted. We also still have young players," he concluded.
